Mezzo-Soprano Bella Mallow is an emerging artist and Denver local. A Colorado native, she received her master’s degree in vocal performance from Louisiana State University in 2020 in the studio of acclaimed pedagogue Dr. Loraine Sims. After finishing her studies, she returned to her home state to start her career. Since then, she has enjoyed frequent professional engagements with Loveland Opera Theatre, Boulder Opera, Opera Colorado, Central City Opera, Opera Fort Collins, and Bravo! Vail.

Some of her most significant roles have been Tisbé in “La Cenerentola,” Dot in “Sunday In The Park With George,” La Ciesca in “Gianni Schicchi,” Fiona MacLaren in “Brigadoon,” Leila in “Iolanthe,” The Monitress in “Suor Angelica,” Meg Page in “Falstaff,” and Doris in “Elizabeth Cree.” While the opportunity to be cast in a production of “Carmen” has yet to present itself, she is convinced she would make an excellent Carmen and invites any and all offers at this time. Notably, she recently won a Certificate Of Merit award at the Denver Lyric Opera Guild 2026 Competition.

Alongside her burgeoning singing career, Bella is a lifelong dancer and actress. Known for her fluid stage movement and memorable acting choices, she is also cast as a dancer and choreographer at local companies in the area. She was a company dancer at Fort Collins Contemporary Ballet in 2021, worked locally as a back-up dancer from 2020 to 2024, and has danced and choreographed for Central City Opera and Loveland Opera Theatre.
